You know how ideas just come to you sometimes? Well here’s what happened: Once I decided I was finally going to start a blog the only thing that stood in my way was a name. I reached out to my best friend and fiance for help. After brainstorming for a while I still couldn’t settle on a name. It was kinda bumming me out. One day I was laying in bed watching Adventure Time (I am adult?) and I heard it. I was watching an episode called “Henchmen” and the premise was that Finn became Marceline’s henchman. Jake of course tries to save Finn from Marceline’s evil grasp. Finn then tells Jake that he has it all wrong and that Marceline is really a “radical dame”. I immediately texted my best friend Charles and asked him what he thought of the name Radical Dame for my blog. He replied “Yooo I know your joking but I like that tho lol that would be fly”.
I still wasn’t 100% sure about it so I decided to look into the meaning of each word.
Okay, I can vibe with that. What about dame?
I would say you could describe me as the equivalent to a knight. We are going to ignore that part about being old though…
So there you have it. Thank you Adventure Time for my blog name.
